BECOME A (FARM) VENDOR​​​

Applications for membership to the Portland Farmers' Market Association are accepted from Maine farmers, with agricultural products to sell, that you raised and/or produced on your farm.
​
​A complete application includes licenses, certificates, and insurance. Please read through our Market Rules and By-Laws before applying.
​Please note, we are a farmer only market, and do not accept applications from crafters, bakers, non-farmers, etc.
We have 2 types of vendors:
New Farm Vendor
Multi-season membership.
The application period to become a New Farm Vendor for the 2026 outdoor summer markets, and the 2026/2027 winter market has now passed. Please check back with us to apply for the 2027 season.
Application deadlines are January 30 of each year.
Temporary Winter Market Vendor
Single-season membership.
Applications to become a Temporary Winter Market Vendor are generally accepted in September of each year.
Please check back in September 2026 to apply as a temporary vendor for our Winter Market.
